Rural Paradise is a luxury holiday complex arranged over three discrete areas within a private and secure compound accessed by a tarmac road. There is the garden area, accommodation area and pool area.
The gardens of Rural Paradise are irrigated by a network of acequias (an Arabic word pronounced a-TH-equia), channels that direct water around the property. Acequias were originally introduced to the area by the Moors around the year 1139 to capture the snow melting in the high Alpujarras. There are thousands of kilometres of these channels running all over the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountains, designed to provide irrigation to the drier slopes and valleys.
Within the complex you will find many facilities to ensure your holiday is stress free, relaxing and above all, enjoyable. These facilities include:

Swimming pool area
Surrounding the swimming pool are terraces for sun loungers, palm, orange and olive trees, gorgeous flowers of many varieties and interesting features such as the Moroccan day bed, the "Giant's seat", turtle pond and Summer House. The pool shower and toilet block is nearby to save you traipsing back to your accommodation.
Swimming pool
The swimming pool is a beautiful kidney shape approximately 10m x 5m with a shallow end of 1.2m and deep end of 2.5m. It is a salt water pool that is kind on the skin and eyes unlike a chlorine pool.

Moroccan day bed
Slip back in time and imagine sipping on an ice cold glass of wine whilst nibbling on rich, tasty olives and juicy grapes.
Summer house
Fancy time away from the pool? The Summer House has occasional seating enabling you to while away the time with your favourite book and glass of something.
Giant’s seat
A great spot to sit and soak in the atmosphere of Rural Paradise whilst observing the goings-on in the pool.
Turtle pond
Sitting by the turtle pond is an excellent spot to absorb yourself in that book you've been planning to read.
Pool shower & toilet
The pool toilet and shower building is just behind the Summer House close to the swimming pool. It is very convenient for guests so that they do not have to traipse back to their accommodation.
Accommodation Area
From the car park you access the Accommodation Area through a door, but first you should take the opportunity to rub the happy Buddha's tummy. Entering, Alcazaba is on the left, further in you find Veleta on the right and after going through the Andalucían Courtyard you gain access to the Lújar apartment.

Games Room
Located within the Accommodation Area, the games room is furnished with a fridge / freezer, table football, darts board and board games. There is a DVD library.
Guest Utility Room
Located within the Accommodation Area, the guest utility room is furnished with two washing machines, two washing baskets, two irons and ironing boards, two vacuum cleaners, two brooms and two buckets and mops.
