Skiing
Founded in 1964, the Sierra Nevada resort defies many concepts associated with skiing. Located barely a stone's throw from the Mediterranean coast, it has practically guaranteed sunshine, the best Spring snow conditions in Europe, and is reasonably priced compared to many of its European counterparts.

4-wheel drive excursions
There are 2 options for you to consider. One offers tours on the northern slopes of the Sierra Nevada and the Alpujarras. The second focuses on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada and the Sierra Lújar in the Alpujarras.

Wine tasting
The Alpujarras is a great region for wine-lovers. Produced in small bodegas in some of the highest vineyards of Europe, the ‘agile’ red, white and rosé vinos de las Alpujarras are proving popular throughout the rest of Spain.

Rum tasting
Historically, the Costa Tropical, particularly the plains of the Río Guadalfeo close to the coast have been renowned for sugar cane plantations and rum production. Now only one distillery remains.

Flamenco
Granada is often referred to as the cradle of flamenco. The city offers the opportunity to enjoy traditional flamenco music and dancing at a number of venues ranging from caves in the gypsy quarter known as Sacromonte to restaurants in the old quarter known as the Albaicín.

Arab baths
Granada preserves some of the oldest baths and the hammams in Spain. The Hammam is a steam bath and is made up of different baths each at different temperatures in several rooms and is a very traditional way of bathing and the massage.
